How MBBS.IRME.IN Verifies Consultants

Last updated: June 8, 2026

MBBS.IRME.IN publishes consultant profiles to help students and parents compare support options with clearer transparency. This page explains how verification works, what paid listing plans mean, and what they do not mean.

Why consultant verification matters

Consultant verification helps reduce hidden risk by requiring baseline identity and transparency checks before a profile is marked verified on MBBS.IRME.IN. The goal is better informed decision-making, not automatic trust scoring.

What "Verified" means

Verified means the consultant has passed MBBS.IRME.IN’s basic internal verification checks. It does not mean government approval, university authorization, or admission guarantee.

Verified status indicates the consultant completed the internal document and transparency review needed for platform publication as a verified consultant.

What "Featured" means

Featured is a paid visibility/listing plan where an already verified consultant can receive stronger listing placement while the plan remains active.

What "Premium" means

Premium is a paid visibility/listing plan with higher placement and premium lead-program eligibility for consultants that have already met internal verification requirements.

Difference between verification status and paid listing plan

Verification status and listing plan are separate:

  • Verification status = internal trust-screening state (for example: pending, under review, verified).
  • Listing plan = paid visibility level (for example: free, verified listing, featured, premium).

Featured and Premium are paid visibility/listing plans. They do not automatically mean higher trust, better admission success, or official endorsement.

What IRME checks before marking a consultant verified

  • Business identity checked
  • Contact details verified
  • Operating city/state checked where possible
  • Website/domain or public operating profile checked where available
  • GST/company/registration details checked where available
  • Countries/universities handled reviewed
  • Student support scope reviewed
  • Refund-policy disclosure submitted
  • Complaint contact submitted
  • Agreement to ethical marketing/listing terms

What IRME does not guarantee

Verification does not guarantee admission, visa approval, scholarship, loan sanction, FMGE/NExT outcomes, or post-arrival results. Students and families must independently review all university and payment documents before committing funds.

Complaint and review process summary

Students and parents can raise complaints through IRME support channels. IRME logs the complaint, requests clarification from the consultant, and reviews available documents/communications. Listing visibility or verification status may be restricted while the case is under review.

Reverification and removal policy

IRME may request periodic reverification, including updated identity/business records, contact checks, and policy disclosures. Profiles can be downgraded, suspended, or removed if required disclosures are missing, major complaints are unresolved, or ethical listing terms are breached.

Badge explanation

  • Verified = Passed internal verification checks
